After the recent passing of my Grandfather and a subsequent visit to the homestead where he spent the first half of his life, I decided it was time to dig out the stories that his mother and father had written years ago and share them with family and anyone else who might be interested.
The majority of the stories are written in either my Great Grandfather's or Great Grandmother's hand and I will try to stay as true as possible to the way they have been laid out in the notebooks.
